The idea is already being tested at the supercar factory located in Maranello (Italy). <\/p>\n<p>Its raison d&#8217;\u00eatre is to optimise manufacturing processes, as well as quality for more homogeneous and resistant finishes.<\/p>\n<p>Greater water resistance is being sought, thus facilitating the joint drying of carbon fiber and other new materials present in the bodywork to achieve a more uniform color.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the new &#8216;eco-friendly&#8217; paint formulated by PPG incorporates a transparent coat specially designed to dry a vehicle at 100\u00ba C. The brand reminds us that, until now, it was being done at 150\u00ba C. In this way, the Maranello factory manages to significantly reduce energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the new clear coat includes a hardener that improves the chemical and mechanical resistance of the coating.
