{"id":21580,"date":"2025-10-15T14:05:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T12:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/redverde.es\/tienda\/barniz-mortex-bipur-mate\/"},"modified":"2026-08-07T14:17:55","modified_gmt":"2026-08-07T12:17:55","slug":"mortex-bipur-matte-varnish","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/redverde.es\/en\/shop\/mortex-bipur-matte-varnish\/","title":{"rendered":"MORTEX Bipur Matte Varnish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BIPUR-M<\/strong> is a two-component, water-based polyurethane varnish, with a matt finish and specific additives, designed primarily for the protection and finishing of <strong>MORTEX<\/strong> systems and similar products indoors, such as floors, walls, countertops and bathrooms.<\/p>\n<p>It is essential to follow the preparation, mixing and application steps correctly to ensure their effectiveness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Areas of application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Indoor use<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for floors, walls, countertops and bathrooms<\/li>\n<li>Particularly suitable for the protection of MORTEX systems and related products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Easy maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Transparent and colorless<\/li>\n<li>Does not yellow over time<\/li>\n<li>High UV resistance<\/li>\n<li>Great resistance to greases and oils.<\/li>\n<li>Effective protection against occasional contact with dilute acids and bases, solvents and gasoline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Formats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 kg and 5 kg containers in components A and B.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 kg: A (0.82 kg) + B (0.18 kg)<\/li>\n<li>5 kg: A (4.10 kg) + B (0.90 kg)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Storage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Store for up to 10 months in a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Keep the original container closed and without direct contact with the ground. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Serving size<\/strong>: 90\u2013120 g\/m\u00b2 (in 2 layers)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drying times (at 23\u00b0C):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the two components of the product (A and B) are mixed, there are less than 3 hours to apply it before it begins to harden or become unusable.<\/p>\n<p>Wait at least 8h and no more than 24h before applying the next coat.<\/p>\n<p>After 16h the surface can withstand minimal use such as lightly handling the treated area.<\/p>\n<p>From 48 hours, the surface can be used normally, but if the temperature is low (12\u00baC) that time can be extended up to 4 days.<\/p>\n<p>Complete drying: 5 days. This is when it develops its maximum resistance and can be considered completely hardened and protected. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Application of BIPUR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Support and Preparation:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe surface should be clean, dry, matte, free of dust, grease or weak parts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preparation of the Mixture:<\/strong><br \/>\nFilter component A, add component B completely, mix mechanically, and mix again in another container.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Application:<\/strong><br \/>\nApply in 2 coats with a microfiber roller (7 mm). The varnish appears white when applying but lightens when drying.
