Scope of application<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wood fibreboard (HFA) as a partition base in wooden constructions for CLAYTEC clay partitions in interiors. On surfaces exposed to water class W0-I according to DIN 18534-1, e.g. in bathrooms (except the shower area) and kitchens. <\/p>\n

Building Material Values<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compressive strength \u2265 100 kPa, Bulk density 230 kg\/m\u00b3, Thermal conductivity 0.05 W\/mK, \u03bc 5. Heat storage: Cp 2.1 kJ\/kgK, 3.9 kJ\/m\u00b2K. Fire behaviour according to DIN EN 13501-1: E <\/p>\n

Dimensions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thickness = 8 mm. Length = 1200 mm, Width = 600 mm. Surface area per board = 0.72 m\u00b2. <\/p>\n

Delivery method<\/strong><\/p>\n

276 individual boards\/pallets.<\/p>\n

Storage<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stored horizontally on pallets, in a dry place. Storage is unlimited. Protect from moisture during transport and storage on site. On site, store in a horizontal position and on dry pallets or wood. Protect the edges from damage. <\/p>\n

Humidity<\/strong><\/p>\n

In general, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 70% during storage or after installation.<\/p>\n

Material requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

When determining material requirements, take into account a reserve of approx. 10% for waste, etc. <\/p>\n

Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

The support must be stable, frost-free, dry, clean (wooden boards must be dust-free), free of exposure to salt, sufficiently rough and absorbent. Retouch shape imperfections. Fix the sandy substrate with CLAYTEC clay primer and sealer. <\/p>\n

Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cut the boards with a jigsaw, circular saw, or cutter.<\/p>\n

The bottom row of boards should be mounted with some spacing to ventilate the floor.<\/p>\n

Flat mounting on wood or wood material with screws (screws for CLAYTEC clay building boards with a spacing of 200 mm), but usually mounting with 25 mm brackets, e.g. Haubold brackets KG 700 series (ETA approval), with a bracket spacing of approx. 150 mm, edge spacing of 25 mm (from the center of the bracket). The boards can be screwed or stapled. In this way, a base is easily created on the wood for the reinforcement layer for the clay and reinforcement adhesive mortar, and the subsequent clay finish. <\/p>\n
