    The surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum wood moisture content 18%). Osmo Oil-Wax Silver Effect is ready to use; please do not dilute. Shake well before use. Thoroughly clean any previous microporous coatings. Old paints or varnishes must be completely removed. As a general rule, you should wear a dust mask while sanding. Fill any cracks, joints, or holes in the wood (with Osmo Joint Filler). Sand the wood thoroughly. Start with coarse-grit sandpaper; The final sanding for floors should be done with P120-150 grit sandpaper, and for furniture, P180-240 grit. Before oiling the surface, remove dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each type of wood. Therefore, you should perform a test beforehand, especially on unfamiliar surfaces. Ideal for wood, its microporous surface allows the wood to breathe, reducing swelling and shrinkage. It is resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water, according to DIN 68861-1A (no watermarks).
