THE PRODUCT
A micromortar. Not a microcement.
Mortex® is a continuous technical-decorative mineral coating based on natural lime, created by BEAL International in 1991. It is applied in thin layers (1 to 3 mm) on virtually any surface (tiles, concrete, MDF, wood or plaster) without the need for demolition.
The result: a seamless, watertight, flexible, and durable surface with a mineral appearance reminiscent of polished concrete or tadelakt. Available in 96 shades and 5 grain sizes, it allows for finishes ranging from minimalist to rustic.
Mortex is not cement. It's lime. And that difference is noticeable in every millimeter: more natural, more stable, more durable.

A standard bathroom application requires between 3 and 4 days of work, including application layers, drying and final sealing.
