Want to bring your walls to life and don’t know how? Would you like to refresh your home and give it more colour? Have fun while beautifying your home and giving it a unique, original style with these three ideas you can do yourself:
- The stencil technique
This is a resource widely used today, although it is thought to date back to prehistoric times. It consists of creating a template with a cut-out design, so that the paint passing through it forms a pattern on the desired surface. In this way, you can create a single drawing in a key spot, form a border by repetition, make a design in each corner of the room… the options are endless! Our eco-friendly tints and pigments offer you many options for choosing the shades that best suit your style. We leave you the direct link to our catalogue by clicking here.
- Paper borders
Another option for decorating the rooms of your home is paper borders. Some are self-adhesive, but others need to be pasted before being applied. Borders also offer many options, since there are many different designs and they can be placed on a single wall to highlight it, all around the room, at different heights, and so on. You can find the brushes and rollers needed to paste the borders, as well as other ancillary products, in our shop.
- Geometric shapes
For this technique you will only need paint in the colour you like best, painter’s masking tape, a paint application kit and a spatula. Simply choose a geometric design and the surface you want to paint it on, which can be a whole wall or just a section. Place the masking tape so that it forms the desired shapes and, once you are happy with the result, press it firmly against the wall with the spatula to prevent the paint from seeping underneath. Finally, paint the selected surface, wait the recommended time for the paint to dry and slowly peel off the tapes to enjoy your new design.
