RedVerde makes every effort to comply fully with the provisions of Spanish Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPD), and of Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, approving the Regulation implementing the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (RLOPD). To this end, this Privacy Policy sets out the terms and conditions governing the processing of personal data through the website.

PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING OF INFORMATION

Below we inform you of the purpose of the collection and processing of personal data in the various situations in which the User may provide us with their personal data:

REGISTRATION AND USER MANAGEMENT

All the information you provide in the registration form is used to manage the website’s Users, so that you can access your profile, view your orders and make your purchases without having to enter your identification details and delivery address again. RedVerde will not permit false registration attempts or attempts to impersonate individuals or companies; providing false information in the registration form will result in the automatic cancellation of the User’s account. RedVerde reserves the right to verify the information provided by the User by telephone.

ORDER MANAGEMENT

When you purchase a product in our online shop, the data you provide will be used to process, dispatch and invoice the products purchased. We will only pass on to the transport and logistics company the data necessary to send you the products. On this point, we inform you that the package sent will show your first name and surname, delivery address and telephone number. This last item is included to allow contact between the transport company and the recipient in order to facilitate the delivery process. In order to place orders in the online shop, each customer will provide, voluntarily and on their own responsibility, their personal data, which must be truthful and accurate. The User who completes the online purchase process declares that they are the owner of the information provided or, failing that, that they have the authorisation of the person on whose behalf they are acting. The User may only enter into contracts and place orders if they are of legal age. Otherwise, responsibility for the purchase of products by minors lies with the minor’s parents or legal guardians.

SENDING INFORMATION

The information entered in the registration or order forms will be used, in cases where the User has not objected to receiving informational communications, to send information about updates to the website, news of interest about pets, as well as promotions and offers relating to our products and services or to third-party products and services relating to pets. This information may be provided by post, telephone and/or electronic means.

ANSWERING ENQUIRIES

The personal data provided to us by the User through the product enquiry forms will be used to answer the questions and enquiries submitted.

AFFILIATE COOKIES

Affiliate cookies make it possible to track visits coming from other websites with which RedVerde has an affiliate agreement.

USE OF COOKIES

A cookie is a file that is downloaded onto the User’s device when they access certain web pages. At RedVerde we strive to keep data up to date, and to that end we ask you to update in your User profile any data that is out of date or incorrect.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

RedVerde does not intend to disclose your personal data beyond the following cases: where an administrative or judicial authority requires it of us in the exercise of its legally conferred powers; where there is a rule with the force of law that so provides (the Spanish Tax Authority, in the case of the issuing of invoices or of purchases equal to or greater than 3,000 euros); in the case of dispatching the products purchased (the buyer’s details will be provided to the courier, logistics or transport company).

SECURITY

RedVerde uses technologies appropriate to the current state of the art to protect your personal data and information, and our website is therefore stored on secure servers protected against the most common types of attack. Nevertheless, we must remind you that no technology is invulnerable and that you must therefore take whatever measures are available to you to maintain the security of your data. In particular, we recommend that you use strong passwords to access your User account, with at least 8 characters combining numbers, letters, upper case, lower case and special characters. We also recommend that you change your password periodically (at least once a year) and that, at the slightest suspicion that a third party may know it, you change it immediately.

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

The User may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection by sending the corresponding request from the email address used to register with RedVerde to the following email address: administracion@RedVerde.es. Likewise, through administracion@RedVerde.es the User may request the cancellation of their account whenever they see fit and unsubscribe from the system for receiving communications by electronic means.
