Adhesive clay and reinforcing mortar

APPLICATION Adhesive and bonding mortar as a ready-mixed, dry, fine-grained mortar for bonding lightweight construction and interior insulation boards to various substrates, such as reinforcing mortar on clay construction boards, clay-hemp boards, wood fiber insulation boards, and wood fiber construction boards, as well as mineral foam boards like cork. COVERAGE 25 kg bags (yields 17 liters of mortar for 5.7 m². Approx. 1.47 kg/m² per mm of plaster thickness), 48 bags/pallet. COMPOSITION Sand up to 1.0 mm, clay and mud, talc, perlite, vegetable fibers, and cellulose. MORTAR PREPARATION The 25 kg dry mix is gradually stirred into 8-9 liters of clean water using a drill (≥ 800 watts) or a mixer and mixing paddle (Ø 125 mm). The amount of water added is slightly less for bonding mortar. The consistency should be a paste until applied with a notched trowel or spatula. DRYING TIME The drying time is 24-72 hours, depending on the drying conditions and absorbency of the substrate. With additional mechanical fixing of the panel and subsequent thin-layer coating, work can resume immediately. WORKING SAMPLE The adhesive's bond strength to the substrate must always be checked on the respective panel to be fixed using a sufficiently large working sample. Claims not due to factory mixing errors are excluded. STORAGE Storage in a cool, dry place is possible indefinitely. Dry products can be stored indefinitely. Thermosetting products must be stored protected from frost in winter, as their workability will otherwise be affected by freezing. MATERIAL VALUES Compressive strength 3.9 N/mm². Adhesive strength 0.85 N/mm². The product meets the indoor climate requirements according to TM 06 DVL.
