Clay putty for filling

56,71 IVA Incluido

Clay filler for application over the ClayTec finishing coat and other sufficiently smooth substrates such as plasterboard, clay tiles, and partition walls, etc., for subsequent painting, including for YOSIMA designer plaster. This filler can be used to fill joints, imperfections, and holes, and is also suitable for repainting the entire surface. The possible application thickness in a single coat is 0-3 mm. The surface can be smoothed. It can also be sanded by hand or machine. The clay filler is a versatile product in terms of application. It is available in natural brown and light natural shades. The light natural shade is recommended as a base for light-colored finishes. For further product information, please refer to the TECHNICAL DATA SHEET.

Ingredients: Foamed glass, clay and marl, limestone powder, talc, cellulose, methylcellulose < 1%

Supply formats, packaging: 10 kg bucket, 33-unit European pallet (7.5 liters of putty, approx. 7.5 m² of surface area at 1 mm thickness. Approx. 1.33 kg/m² per mm of plaster thickness).

Storage Can be stored in a cool, dry place indefinitely.

Preparation: Gradually mix 10 kg of dry mix with approximately 5 liters of clean water using a drill (≥ 800 watts) or a paddle mixer (Ø 125 mm). The consistency should be pasty, suitable for the desired application method with a trowel or spatula.

Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes and then stir well. The putty is now ready for application.

Substrate The substrate must be stable, non-elastic, frost-free, dry, clean, free of salts, and sufficiently rough.

Working Method: Imperfections and holes should be filled first, several times if necessary. Allow to dry each time.

Clean the surfaces before applying the putty. The putty can be applied at a thickness of 0-3 mm in each application. The clay putty is spread onto the surface with a trowel.

If smoothing is required, it is done with light pressure and a closed trowel, for the time necessary to achieve a smooth, even surface.

Working Time Once mixed, the putty remains usable for 24 hours if kept covered.

Hardening The hardening time is 24 hours, depending on the drying conditions and absorbency of the substrate.

Sample Applications: The suitability of the substrate, adhesion, and surface results should always be checked by means of sufficiently large sample applications.
