The smoothing soap serves as a final protective treatment, especially for stucco, tadelakt, and marmorino. Its essential component is Corfu soap, a pure olive oil soap manufactured in a factory on the Greek island of Corfu. It contains no additives, preservatives, or perfumes. Gently dissolved in water and applied to calcareous surfaces that are still sufficiently alkaline, a portion of the natural soap transforms into what are known as lime soaps. These soaps give the wall surface moisture- and dirt-repellent (water-repellent) properties without affecting its diffusion capacity. APPLICATION As a final treatment for high-gloss smoothing techniques, such as KREIDEZEIT Fine Stucco, Venetian Stucco, Marmorino, and Tadelakt. As a final treatment for matte surfaces, such as KREIDEZEIT Smoothing Lime, lime plasters, or lime paints. SIZES: 500 ml 35 m² CHARACTERISTICS - Concentrated for dilution in water - Transparent - Water-repellent - Dirt-repellent - Purely plant-based - Free of colorants, preservatives, and perfumes - Vegan COVERAGE 35 m² STORAGE If stored in a cool, frost-free place in an airtight container, the softening soap will keep for at least 2 years. COMPOSITION Water, olive oil soap, sodium bicarbonate, and lime water. TREATMENT Apply with a trowel and float as desired. Float or smooth with a trowel, texture, or press until a gloss is achieved. With Kreidezeit decorative additives (see product information), many other effects can be achieved. ATTENTION Since smoothing techniques require considerable manual dexterity, we recommend attending a seminar on smoothing techniques at our facilities. Dates will be announced on our website.
