CHARACTERISTICS:
SCOPE OF USE: ISOVIT LIME is specially designed for bonding and surface leveling, and promotes the adhesion of panels in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) with high water vapor permeability, such as wood fiber (WF), black cork agglomerate (ICB), or mineral wool (MW) panels. Suitable substrates for these systems include masonry, wood, cement block, and/or hydraulic-based substrates such as concrete and stucco. This mortar is also suitable for reinforced plastering in the renovation of old stucco, thanks to its excellent water vapor permeability. ISOVIT LIME is appropriate for the renovation of painted or ceramic-clad facades, as it allows the bonding of external thermal insulation systems directly onto these types of substrates with the additional application of mechanical fixings such as ISOVIT Taco.
