Natural hydraulic lime NHL 3.5

17,06 IVA Incluido

SECIL NATURAL LIME NHL 3.5 is a natural hydraulic lime, a hydraulic binder made up of silicates and aluminates of calcium and calcium hydroxide. It is obtained by firing loamy limestone, followed by grinding and is classified as NHL 3.5 according to NP EN 459-1.

Hydraulic lime is a binder that has been successfully used in construction for hundreds of years. It stands out for the setting process and for achieving mechanical resistance in contact with water. Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere also contributes to the hardening process.

APPLICATIONS OF NHL HYDRAULIC LIME:

  • Mortars for sustainable construction.
  • Plasters for the renovation of old buildings or in new constructions.
  • Decorative finishes.
  • Mortars for the placement of blocks and bricks.
  • Grouting mortars for stone masonry.
  • Paving mortars.
  • Decorative finishes.
  • Lime concrete.
  • Production of bricks or other building artifacts.
  • Injection slurries.
  • Soil treatment.

APPLICATION:

  • In the manufacture of mortars, as a single binder or mixed with other hydraulic or aerial binders, giving them manageability and flexibility, significantly reducing the shrinkage of hydraulic mortars (e.g. plaster mortars, finishes or cement grout from old masonry).
