transparent, satin-finish protective wood finish that uniquely combines the advantages of vegetable oils and waxes in a single product. Osmo Colored Oil-Wax is stain-resistant, water-repellent, and abrasion-resistant, while also providing a pleasant-to-the-touch surface. Compared to other conventional finishes, the use of plant-based ingredients results in a more uniform color and a more harmonious appearance. Easy application—no primer or intermediate sanding required—saving time and money. Ideal for wood; the microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water, according to DIN 68861-1A (no watermarks). Once dry, the coating is harmless to humans, animals, and plants, and is suitable for children's toys (according to European standard EN 71.3). Additional Information:

Up to 5 years and more if the can is stored in a dry place and tightly sealed. If it solidifies due to cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Surface Preparation:

The surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum wood moisture content 18%). Osmo Colored Oil-Wax is ready to use; please do not dilute. Shake well before use. Thoroughly clean any previous microporous coatings. Old paints or varnishes must be completely removed. As a general rule, you should wear a dust mask while sanding. Fill any cracks, joints, or holes in the wood (with Osmo Jointing Putty). Sand the wood thoroughly. Start with coarse-grit sandpaper; The final sanding for floors should be done with P120-150 grit and for furniture with P180-240 grit. Before oiling the surface, remove dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each type of wood. Therefore, you should perform a test beforehand, especially on unfamiliar surfaces. For APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS or any other product information, please consult the TECHNICAL DATA SHEET.
