Vegetable oil finish for exterior wood, colorless and slightly glossy. The microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, does not crack, peel, flake or blister. Deeply penetrates and smooths the surface of the wood with one hand. No sanding required, just re-apply; No primer needed. Touch-ups can be made on the product while it is being applied. Once dry, it is harmless to humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and sweating, according to DIN 53160 and suitable for children's toys, according to EN 71.3)

Osmo Colourless Finishing Oil is an extremely versatile wood finish, with many possible applications in outdoor woods. Osmo Colourless Finishing Oil is ideal as a base coat in applications on conifers and softwoods. In particular on saw-cut surfaces, greyed or weathered, to equalise the different degrees of roughness of the wood. Osmo Colourless Finishing Oil is also ideal as a slightly glossy finish on HSPlus Monocoat Lacquer or Campaign Paint, when a slightly glossy surface with less maintenance is desired: doors, windows, shutters (stable carpentry), sheds, facades, balustrades, fences, pergolas or
summer cabins (non-stable carpentry). It is also suitable as a binding agent (enamel) in special applications, where a custom color, mixed with powder or liquid pigments, is sought for oil finishes.
Storage:
Up to 5 years and more if the can is stored in a dry and hermetically sealed place. If it solidifies from the cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature, before use.
Surface preparation:
The surface of the wood must be clean, dry and free of frost (maximum moisture content 20%). Grayed or weathered surfaces should be cleaned and renewed with Power Gel Osmo Revivant; at least the dirt, and loose fibers, should be removed. Osmo Colorless Finishing Oil is ready to use. Do not dilute. Shake well before use. If possible, you should apply a base coat on all sides before installation. Old microporous finishes need to be cleaned. Old paints and varnishes should be completely removed. Therefore, it is always necessary to carry out a previous test, especially on surfaces that are not familiar. If you want additional protection against bluing, rot and insects, you should pre-treat on all sides with WR Osmo Primer.
