OSMO exterior wood oil stain

• Viscosity: 30-60s according to DIN EN ISO 2431/3 mm, viscous
• Odor: mild/light; Odorless once dry
• Flash point: >61º C, according to EN ISO 2719

Used for:

Oil-based wood stain is recommended for application on any exterior wood: doors, windows, shutters (dimensionally stable), basements, wooden facades, balconies, decking, pergolas, garden furniture and summer houses (not dimensionally stable). Especially recommended for children's toys.

Additional information:

Up to 5 years and older if the tin is stored in a dry place and tightly sealed. If it solidifies due to cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Surface Preparation:

The surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum wood moisture content 20%). Osmo Oil-Based Lasur is ready to use; please do not dilute. Shake well before use. Thoroughly clean any previous microporous coatings. Old paints or varnishes must be completely removed. As a general rule, you should wear a dust mask during sanding. If possible, apply a base coat to all surfaces before installation. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each type of wood. Therefore, you should test it beforehand, especially on unfamiliar surfaces. For added protection against blue stain, mold, or insects, you can pretreat all surfaces with Osmo WR Primer.
