A colorless, satin wood finish that uniquely combines the advantages of natural oils and waxes in a single product.
Osmo Extra Liquid Oil-Wax is stain-resistant, water-repellent and wear-resistant, and has a very pleasant surface to the touch.
Compared to conventional finishes, the use of plant ingredients creates a more uniform color and a more harmonious appearance.
Simple application, without primer or intermediate sanding: saving time and money.
Ideal for wood; Microporous surfaces will not peel, crack, flake or blister.
Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water, according to DIN 68861-1A (without watermarks).
The finish, once dry, is harmless to humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and sweating according to DIN 53160; suitable for children's toys according to EN 71.3).

Osmo Extra Liquid Colorless Oil-Wax is recommended for any interior wood: wall and ceiling paneling, wooden floors, furniture and toys. Thanks to its water-repellent qualities, it is also recommended for wood in wet areas (kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools).
Osmo Extra Liquid Colourless Oil-Wax is specially developed for the treatment of dense woods rich in extracts, such as Meranti, Wenge, Merbau, etc.
Storage:
Up to 5 years and more if the can is stored in a dry and hermetically sealed place. If it solidifies from the cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature, before use.
Surface preparation:
The surface of the wood must be clean, dry and frost-free (maximum moisture content 18%).
The Osmo Extra Liquid Oil-Wax is ready to use: do not dilute. Shake well before use.
Clean old microporous treatments meticulously. Old paints or varnishes should be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask while sanding. Fill cracks, joints or holes in the wood (with Osmo putty).
If possible, apply an initial coat to all faces before installation.
Sand the surface of the wood carefully. Start with a coarse grit and finish with P120-150 grits for flooring, or P220-240 grits for furniture. Before oiling the surface, remove any sanding dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner.
The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each wood. Therefore, you should perform a pre-test, especially on surfaces that are unfamiliar to you.
