More than double the performance thanks to its high oil content - save time and money! Satin finish for wood, protective and decorative, based on natural oils, for exterior wood. The microporous surface allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage. Water-repellent, extremely resistant to weathering and UV stable. It will not crack, peel, flake, or blister. Simple renovation: no sanding required. Easy and trouble-free application. The product allows for corrections while applying. Osmo HSPLUS Monocapa has a low solvent content, is biocide-free, and has a high solids content, thus offering high performance. Optimal protection is achieved with a very thin coat. Once dry, the finish is harmless to humans, animals, and plants, and is suitable for children's toys, according to European standard EN 71.3; it is resistant to saliva and perspiration, according to DIN 53160 (German industrial standard). Used for:

Osmo HS Plus one coat is ideal for any exterior wood: roofing, cladding, balconies, fences, gates, pergolas, garden furniture or cabins. Especially suitable for the renovation of microporous stains.

Additional Information:

Up to 5 years and more if the can is stored in a dry place and tightly sealed. If it solidifies due to cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Surface Preparation:

The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum moisture content 20% RH). Osmo HSPLUS Monocapa is ready to use; do not dilute. Shake well before use. Thoroughly clean stained, microporous surfaces. Old paints and varnishes must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a mask during sanding. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of the wood. Therefore, a preliminary test is required, especially on surfaces not previously tested. For additional protection against blue stain, mold, or insects, all surfaces can be pre-treated with Osmo WR Primer. For further product information, please consult the TECHNICAL DATA SHEET.
