Fast-drying, colorless or transparent wood treatment for the basic care and maintenance of oiled/waxed wood floors. Dull and faded floors are revived with Osmo Maintenance Oil. Treatment with Maintenance Oil at the right time avoids costly sanding and refinishing. It is also suitable for adjusting the gloss level of untreated Osmo Oil-Wax surfaces. Ideal for wood; the microporous surface does not peel, crack, flake, or swell. It is resistant to wine, beer, colas, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk, and water, according to DIN 68861-1A – without watermarks. Once dry, the finish is harmless to humans, animals, and plants and is suitable for children's toys, according to European standard EN 71.3, and resistant to saliva and perspiration, according to DIN 53160 (German industry standard). Used for:

Osmo Maintenance Oil is recommended for the maintenance of all types of wood floors finished with oil-wax. Solid wood flooring, engineered wood flooring, parquet, paving stones, OSB board, and cork flooring; as well as stairs and furniture. Especially recommended for public spaces (e.g., restaurants, museums, and other high-traffic areas).

Additional Information:

Up to 5 years and more if the can is stored in a dry place and tightly sealed. If it solidifies due to cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Surface Preparation:

The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum moisture content 18%). Osmo Maintenance Oil is ready to use: do not dilute. Shake well before use. Thoroughly clean the surface with Osmo Intensive Cleaner and rinse (with a damp mop) with clean water. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each type of wood. Therefore, you should perform a preliminary test, especially on unfamiliar surfaces.
