Storage:

Up to 5 years and longer if the can is stored in a dry place and tightly sealed. If it solidifies due to cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Surface Preparation:

The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum moisture content 18%). Osmo Oil Stain is ready to use: do not dilute. Shake well before use. Thoroughly clean away any old microporous treatments. Old paints or varnishes must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask while sanding. Fill cracks, joints, and holes (with Osmo Joint Filler). Sand the wood surface carefully. Start with a coarser grit and finish with a finer grit: P 120-150 for flooring, P220-240 for furniture. Before oiling, carefully clean away dust with a broom or vacuum cleaner. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each type of wood. Therefore, you should perform a test beforehand, especially on unfamiliar surfaces. For APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS or any other product information, please consult the TECHNICAL DATA SHEET.
