Specially developed for sealing end grain and protecting it from cracking caused by weathering. Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax minimizes water absorption and also dries the end grain. It also protects the interior, as it is absorbed by the wood's capillaries. Swelling, shrinkage, and sap seepage are reduced. It is colorless and therefore can be used on any type of wood. exterior at both ends approx.).
Density: 0.88-0.95 g/cm3
Viscosity: 25-35s EN ISO 2431/4 mm, thixotropic
Odor: mild/light; odorless once dry
Flash point: 45 to 52°C, according to EN ISO 2719

Used for:

The Osmo Head Protector is recommended for the ends of outdoor wooden decking, roofs, etc. of wood such as Bangkirai, Massaranduba, Garapa, Kumarú, Pine, Douglas Fir, Cedar, heat-treated wood, etc.

Storage:

Up to 5 years and longer if the can is stored in a dry place and tightly sealed. If it solidifies due to cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature before use.

Surface Preparation:

The wood surface must be clean, dry, and frost-free (maximum moisture content 20%). Osmo Testas Sealing Wax is ready to use. Do not dilute. Shake well before use. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each type of wood. Therefore, you should perform a test beforehand, especially on unfamiliar surfaces.
