Colorless, breathable sealant with a pleasant matte mineral appearance.
Specially designed for use exclusively in mineral bases. Thanks to its multiple silicification petrification process, SellarMin reacts with the mineral base, forming the same crystalline body, insoluble in water and very breathable. It is also indicated to reinforce the kneading of Caltia Mortars in high thickness needs.
Make coloured or colourless patinas, seal and fix mineral materials such as brick, lime, natural stone or concrete with a pleasant matt mineral appearance with our SellarMin potassium silicate solution.
Given its natural character, it is suitable for use on surfaces where the precept of elegance, beauty, naturalness and respect for the environment is met, for the protection of mineral coatings, natural stone, or as a fixative before applying ColorMin paint.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
- Soluble potassium silicate and organic < binder 3-5% on the dry extract

- Transparent (pigmentable).

- Weather, UV and ozone resistant.

- Unalterable to cement alkalis (unsaponifiable).

Matte• Colour / Pigmentation: Colorless, but pigmentable. Natural oxides up to 5% can be used.
• Application temperature: From 5ºC, both for the surface to be painted and for the ambient temperature.
• Compatibility: Do not mix with other products (only with water for mixing the mortar or for its application in a more dissolved form, when the support requires it).
