Combination of colorless or transparent oil-wax for the treatment of furniture and kitchen countertops made of wood. Osmo TopOil is based on vegetable oils and waxes. Ideal for wood; Microporous surfaces will not crack or peel, flake or swell. Resistant to wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water, according to DIN 68861-1A (without water marks). The finish, once dry, is harmless to humans, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and sweating, according to DIN 53160; suitable for children's toys, according to EN 71.3).
TopOil Osmo is food-safe, according to EN 1186 Part 5/14.

It is used for:
TopOil Osmo is ideal for the protection of furniture and work
surfaces made of solid wood or slatted board (e.g. kitchen countertops,
desks, shelves, etc.) for indoor use. Also suitable for cork and OSB board.
Additional Information:
Up to 5 years and more if the can is stored in a dry and hermetically sealed place. If it solidifies from the cold, store for 24-36 hours at room temperature, before use.
Surface preparation:
The surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (maximum humidity, 18%). Osmo TopOil is ready to use, please do not dilute. Shake before use. Clean old microporous finishes. Old paints and varnishes must be completely removed. As a general rule, wear a dust mask during sanding work. Fill small cracks, joints or holes in the wood (With Osmo flashing). Sand the wood surface carefully. Start with coarse sandpaper and finish with sanding for furniture P220-240. Before oiling the surface, remove dust from the wood with a broom or vacuum cleaner. The surface finish depends on several factors, including the natural characteristics of each wood. Therefore, you should perform a pre-test, especially on surfaces that are unfamiliar to you.
