Last Saturday the 25th, our RedVerde Bioconstrucción premises in Málaga hosted an intensive Feng Shui session that exceeded all expectations. For two and a half hours, the space was transformed into a meeting point full of energy, curiosity and participation, in a day that stood out as much for its dynamism as for the connection among the attendees.
From the very first moment, a special atmosphere was created. Far from being a passive session, it was a lively gathering, with people interested in understanding how the spaces in which we live influence something as essential as our rest, our ability to concentrate or our emotional balance.
The session, led by Alicia Feng Shui, offered a clear, practical and accessible approach to traditional Feng Shui. Throughout the morning, the attendees were able to delve into the fundamentals of this age-old discipline, understanding key concepts from a relatable and easily applicable perspective.
Beyond the theory, what really made the difference was the way those concepts were carried over into everyday life. It addressed how vital energy, or Qi, circulates through spaces and how its balance, together with the relationship between Yin and Yang and the presence of the five elements, directly influences how we feel within our home.
The focus was also placed on aspects as concrete as the orientation of the home, the layout of the furniture or the role played by elements such as doors, windows or lighting. All of this helped to understand why certain spaces favour rest and calm, while others can generate unease, blockage or difficulty concentrating.
One of the most notable aspects of the day was, without doubt, the involvement of the attendees. The session progressed in a close-knit atmosphere, where questions arose naturally and personal experiences constantly enriched the content.
That interaction allowed many of the participants to begin identifying, in their own spaces, situations they had not known how to interpret until now. What at first might have seemed abstract became something tangible, small keys that can transform the way we live in our homes or workspaces.
The combination of a theoretical foundation with practical examples made the experience not only interesting, but also useful and applicable from the very first moment.
For RedVerde, hosting this masterclass had a special meaning. Our philosophy, based on the use of ecological, healthy and environmentally respectful materials, connects naturally with the principles of Feng Shui. Both approaches share the same foundation: the importance of creating balanced spaces that promote people’s wellbeing.
During the session it became especially clear that the quality of materials is not a minor aspect. On the contrary, it directly influences the energy of the space and how it impacts those who inhabit it. When suitable materials are combined with a correct organization of the environment, the result is a space that not only looks good, but feels good.
This masterclass also served as the presentation of the upcoming Intensive Basic Feng Shui Course, to be held at RedVerde Málaga in a weekend format (Friday to Sunday). A training designed to go deeper into the energy analysis of spaces, the correct layout of homes and the practical application of this discipline in daily life.
What we experienced during this day makes it clear that there is a growing interest in better understanding the relationship between environment and wellbeing. And it also confirms that when knowledge, materials and conscious design are integrated, the impact goes far beyond the aesthetic.
