Clay base mortar with straw 1t Big-Bag

491,20 IVA Incluido

Clay and straw mortar, used in one or more layers, is a classic solution that has been the preferred choice for thick-layer applications for over 30 years. It is especially effective on irregular surfaces, in surface heating systems, or in monument restoration work. Up to 35 mm thick can be applied in a single coat. This material stands out for its ease of handling and vertical adhesion, as well as being ideal for filling cracks and other imperfections. As the fundamental base for all ClayTec clay finishing plasters, both thick and thin, clay and straw plaster is essential for a wide variety of projects. Its wet mortar is notable for its high resource efficiency, while the dry mortar, with an unlimited lifespan, can also be applied using plastering machines. APPLICATION: The mortar is applied with a trowel, spread, or sprayed with a mortar machine. The minimum and maximum application thicknesses are usually 8 and 15 mm, respectively, depending on the surface, although up to 35 mm is possible. On concrete or masonry, only 10 mm is required; on extruded clay block masonry, only 6 mm per layer. The consistency of the mortar should be adapted to the layer thickness. The application of YOSIMA clay design plasters requires a well-sanded and flat surface (special additional work step) or a thin layer of fine clay finishing plaster 06. COVERAGE: Wet mortar in 1.0 t Big Bags (results on 600 l of clay mortar, 40 m² surface with D= 1.5 cm) DRYING TIME: After application, rapid drying must be ensured, for example, by cross ventilation (all windows and doors open 24 hours a day) or drying equipment. Under critical conditions, drying must be recorded according to DIN 18550-2; for further details, please refer to this standard or the ClayTec "Clay Plasters Worksheet". We would be happy to provide you with further information. The basic microbial load of the natural moisture products 05.001 and 05.201 is subject to constant monitoring; compliance with specific values cannot be guaranteed. WORKING SAMPLE: The suitability of the substrate and the layer thickness must be checked in all cases using a sufficiently large working sample. MATERIAL VALUES: Drying shrinkage: 3%. Strength class: S II. Flexural strength: 0.7 N/mm². Compressive strength: 1.5 N/mm². Adhesion: 0.10 N/mm². Apparent density: 1.8. Thermal conductivity: 0.91 W/m∙K. µ value: 5/10. Building material class: A1. Water vapor absorption class: WS III. Microbial quality class: MBKIIb (wet), MBKIb (dry). STORAGE: Store in a dry place. Damp clay-based plaster should be used no later than 3 months after manufacture; dried material can be stored indefinitely. Damp material must be stored in winter protected from frost, as its workability is otherwise affected by freezing temperatures. COMPOSITION: Natural building clay up to 5 mm, washed mixed-grain sand 0-2 mm. Grain group, top grain size according to DIN 0/4, <8 mm. Barley straw fibers up to 30 mm
