The ClayTec 06 fine clay coating offers all the advantages of clay plasters reinforced with long fibres. Its preparation is simple, and its application is extremely easy, avoiding the accumulation of fibers both in the mixer and on the surface.
With a pasty and flexible consistency, this plaster has a very fine granulometry of up to 0.6 mm, which allows a uniform distribution and precise work on the surface. Fine clay plaster 06 is designed for thin-layer applications.

APPLICATION: The plaster is applied with a trowel or by means of a spraying machine. Minimum and maximum application thickness: 2 to 3 mm. The texture of the surface will depend on the time of application and the tool used. In general, the harder the plaster is at the time of application, the finer the texture. Rough surfaces are obtained with sponge boards, plastic or wood, while smooth surfaces are achieved with a trowel.
PERFORMANCE: Dry 10,113: in 25 kg bags (yields 17 l of plaster mortar for 5.7 m² with a thickness of 3 mm. Approximate consumption: 1.47 kg/m² per mm of plaster thickness), 48 bags per pallet.
DRYING TIME: Drying After application, rapid drying must be ensured, e.g. by cross ventilation (all windows and doors open 24 hours a day). Under critical conditions, drying must be recorded in accordance with DIN 18550-2, for more details see there or in the ClayTec "Clay Plaster Worksheet". We will be happy to provide you with information separately.
WORK SAMPLE: It is essential to verify the suitability of the substrate, the thickness of the layer and the effect of the surface by means of a sufficiently large working sample.

STORAGE: It can be stored indefinitely in dry conditions.
