Kreidezeit safflower wax contains no solvents and yellows little. Treatment with thistle oil and low-yellowing beeswax for low-wear wooden surfaces, especially on furniture, doors, beams, cladding and as a finish on wood surfaces treated with casein paint, chalk paint and tempera paint. It can be dyed with Kreidezeit earth and mineral pigments as desired.
Kreidezeit safflower wax contains neither solvents nor water and consists exclusively of natural oils and waxes. It does not contain "hidden" alkyd resins, which, for example, are from non-desiccant oils, such as rapeseed, soybean or sunflower oil.

FEATURES
APPLICATION
It is usually applied with a cloth. On large surfaces it can also be painted. To do this, dilute the safflower wax in a ratio of 1:1 with balsamic turpentine oil. Do not apply safflower wax diluted with turpentine oil on surfaces treated with casein, chalk, tempera paints. PERFORMANCE
Depending on the absorption capacity of the substrate
approx. 0.05 – 0.100 liters / m² per layer.
In highly absorbent woods, higher consumption is to be expected.
DRYING TIME
Drying and retreading at 20°C and 60% relative humidity after approx. 24 hours (or 48 hours on substrates containing tannins, oak, etc.).
Cold substrates containing tannins significantly extend the drying time.
Fully cured after approx. 4 weeks. During this, use it carefully and protect it from water.
STORAGE
Stored in an airtight and frost-free container, the product can be kept for at least 2 years of shelf life.
COMPOSITION
Safflower oil, chlorine-free bleached beeswax, settled Tung oil, manganese-based blotter.
ATTENTION
Work materials impregnated with the product, such as cleaning cloths, sponges, sanding powder
, oil-polishing pads that are not completely dry, should be stored in an
airtight metal container or in water, and when spreading them care should be taken to ensure that no oil comes
into contact with the porous insulating materials, otherwise there is a risk of spontaneous combustion
due to the vegetable oil content.
The product itself is not self-flammable. Do not pour the product onto surfaces. Pay attention to
possible allergies to natural substances. Store out of reach of children.
